is a dynamic fast growing company created to enable HIP providers with a one stop facility in the provision of Energy Performance Certificates.
Whether you’re a householder or a national organization, we provide the quality of service you would expect from a national company, with the personal feel of a local company.
Home Information Pack Providers
We have the advantage of providing a Central Administration System that has been established to help streamline the process for the HIP provider. We have set out a path to market below to help you understand how this operates:
- The HIP provider is contacted by clients who need HIP’s
- Part of this HIP is the Energy Performance Certificate
- The HIP sends to NERO all the requirements for the EPC’s based on the post codes that we cover (this information is logged with the HIP provider)
- NERO distributes the EPC requirements to its members, the inspections are carried out and the certificates are created
- The HIP provider draws down the EPC for it’s client and includes it in the HIP
- NERO invoices the HIP at the end of the month for all EPC’s created that month
- The HIP makes payment to NERO before the end of the month of invoice
- NERO pays it’s members 30 days after the invoice date to the HIP
This creates a one stop shop with one point of contact for the client resulting in substantially reduced administration costs for the HIP provider.
Estate Energy Assessors, Solicitors and Conveyance Companies
This is for the companies who do not want to go through panels but would prefer to build a relationship with an individual. All our Domestic Energy Assessors (DEA’s) own their own regional companies and would like to build a professional relationship with clients. In this instance go to our map and click on the area you cover. This will bring up an enquiry form that will go to our Domestic Energy Assessor who works in that area. They will then contact you by return and arrange a mutually convenient time to meet. All transactions will be between the client and our member with no direct involvement from NERO central office.
IMPORTANT NOTE All our members are qualified to ABBE level 3 Diploma in Domestic Energy Assessment and are covered by Public Liability, Employer Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance.
